John Henry Holliday "DOC" Born August 14, 1851 in Griffin, Georgia. Came from a very well known family. Received his Doctor of Dental Surgery on March 1, 1872. He immediately opened up a practice in Atlanta. He soon discovered he had contracted tuberculosis. The prognosis gave him a few months to live, which might be extended if he moved to a dry climate.
