The world is mainly made up of two opposing forces: evilness and goodness. When there are some places where people are experiencing the evilness of murders, wars, or inequality of the society, there are always other places where are living with hope, happiness, and goodness from others. The existence of evilness is indeed disadvantageous toward human nature because it might cuase people to harm the people around them for the sake of their own selfishness.

evil is temporary, which is caused maybe by distrust and prejudice in the story "Young Goodman Brown". The short-lived evilness of human nature is quickly overcome by one's goodness at heart. Evilness and goodness are two opposite forces, yet what is more important is tha goodness is a gate that keeps people away from evil. Theoretically, people are born to good, but the inevitable interaction with in a complicated society always leads people into evilness.
