…the system. I would do away with the party system and the electoral college. I'd run our national elections in the same manner as local elections. If there were more than two candidates for an office, there would be a preliminary election to whittle it down to two regardless of party affiliation. That way, the winner of the general election for an office would receive a majority, however great or small, of the popular vote.
