It is difficult to decide whether the treaty of Versailles was a fair or an unfair treaty - it depends on the point of view, but I personally think that the treaty was quite harsh and unfair... Summing up, I definitely think that the treaty wasn't at all fair, and that Germany should have paid some reparations and lost some territory - but maybe one or the other... or both to lesser degrees.
