Further still the vast differences between each of these poet's work acts to strengthen the powerful message behind that of the other. There is no right or wrong, just different perspectives arising from different experiences. We are fortunate to be able to draw upon the colourful, real and deep experiences of people such as Sassoon and Brooke, without having to encounter war ourselves.
