Does entertainment influence society's attitude towards violent behavior? In order to fully answer this question violence must be defined. Violence is the use of one's powers to inflict mental or physical injury upon another. Examples of this would be rape or murder. Violence in entertainment reaches the public by ways of television, movies, and novels. Violence in entertainment is a major factor in the escalation of violence in society.

Then the only ways to get rid of the violent entertainment in our lives are: we could shame those who make the violent movies, television shows, and books into having a social conscience, making them be less prone to creating violent entertainment, or we could simply solve the problem ourselves, with a push of a button, or the turn of a page.
