Arthur Wing Pinero's Trelawny of the Wells was one that I personally was
open-minded to when required to see the production at the Ruth Halls
Theatre. Because theatre and art interest me, I expected the production of
Trelawny to be quite well. When I came to the Wednesday production, I
wanted to examine the design qualities and aspects of the play. In a

believe if the principle of unity was intact with the production, I would have been more content rather than as critical as I currently am. The lavish costumes some of the characters wore were spectacular and as an audience member, you waited for the next act to "ooo" and "awww" over the designs. Consequently, the scenic, costume, light and sound design were done quite well and helped the audience enjoyment of the play and plot.
