…those in authority over us and the rejection of authority, is a direct rejection of Gods Word. All in all, almost every belief of the Transcendentalists goes directly against Gods Word and Laws. Only through God we can achieve perfection, not through our own rational thinking or because we are perfect creatures. We are not perfect beings, we do not know all, and we need authority to guide and punish us when we do wrong.
