Aim: - To investigate how the height of a runway affects the average speed of a trolley.
Introduction: -
Gravitational potential energy is the energy stored in an object as the result of its vertical position (i.e., height). The energy is stored as the result of the gravitational attraction of the Earth for the object. The gravitational potential energy of the heavy ram of a pile driver is dependent on two variables - the

V2 as the height increases and the results shows a clear pattern that the trolley is accelerating faster on each height that is increasing. The line of best fit on the graph tells me that about every 0.01m rise in height the acceleration will increase by 0.08m and this shows that my prediction is right because I said that the height and V2 is proportional and a constant increase will arise and a straight line.
