…these two philosophers we see how the mind/body argument continues to be a difficult and controversial topic. Descartes points out the distinction between mind and body, while Spinoza assess' their unity. I found Descartes argument for dualism more plausible, but since philosophers have spent years arguing over the mind/body relation, I believe they will quite possibly remain to do so because of the difficulty in trying to understand the concept of the mind.
