Ezra Pound was born in Hailey, Idaho, in 1885. He went to the University of Pennsylvania for two years and then continued to get a degree in 1905 from Hamilton College. He taught for a few years at a college and traveled abroad in Europe as well. His biggest love was writing, however, and wrote many poems and other pieces in his lifetime.
