The novel, Things Fall Apart, by Chinua Achebe, describes a traditional village in Africa called Ibo. Achebe is trying to tell the outside world about the little village and to remind the people of its own traditional values. The reader thinks of the colonist the enemy, while in the eyes of the colonist, they are doing something right to bring civilized people in the way of the Lord. This book however was a positive experience for me, in learning of a greatly told story and ways of the Ibo.
