trying to find a cure for disease e.t.c. also if it will benefit forensics, i.e. trying to detect a criminal from a crime scene e.t.c., though, I do disagree with the fact that genetic engineering should be used on things such as 'designer babies' the money used on that can be so much more useful for medical purposes, I believe that the genotype is far more important that the phenotype.
