…loving parent would take their daughter in to be mutilated. These rural people trust the doctors, and how can any doctors ethically perform such operations? It baffles my mind. Women should be informed of what these procedures will do to them and their daughters during intercourse and during the birth of a child. Female genital mutilation is called mutilation for a reason. We do not call it female genital, now it is better than ever!
