I make my arrival to the beach. The sun is scorching. It feels like it must be 110 degrees but the news said it was 87. …great things going on around me. Speedboats rocketing through the salt waters. A very large tugboat blast the horn. The people playing sports. The families laughing together that might otherwise never even talk to each other at home. The beach takes on a more sentimental meaning to me. I am reminded of why it a vacation destination for thousands everyday. I go home today with a much greater appreciation of this backyard paradise of mine.
