After going through comparing and contrasting how each book approach the Vietnam War, what each book tells us about the war, what each book did not address, and how does each book complement each other; I found If I Die in a Combat Zone is a better book representing the Vietnam War, because it vividly illustrates how wars are brutal and dehumanizing and also one can see how it affected American soldiers and their families.
