…after bombarding Greece for being guilty of the murder of one of Italy's generals (accusation made by Mussolini); he retreated, although the Conference of Ambassadors decided to support Italy and made Greece pay up. This made the League look weak. To conclude the League in its starting years was more successful then a failure, however it started decaying over time and it basically disappeared in 1940 when Britain was the only country left in the League.
