The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck is a story about life in the great depression and how difficult it was to make ends meet. Steinbeck tells the story through the Joad family and how they struggle to survive. Also he has short chapters about the background and what was going on outside of the Joads.

it is a book that is easy to follow and relate to. Also John Steinbeck makes it easy and fun to get involved with the characters. I like the book because I could get inside of the characters and feel what they felt as well as see what the saw in their story. The only problem with the book is that it has too many chapters in which have nothing to do with the story.
