This document established the United States of America as an independent and free state, separated from British rule. It doesn't secure the quality of life or protect a person from unwanted harm. Lastly, the Declaration fails to efficiently provide its reliant citizens with the happiness they wish to pursue. Even though its an important official document, the Declarations meaning has been lost and bent over the years.
