After looking at all the evidence I have to say that, although there are some serious undertones of morals and significance, Act Four is predominantly low comedy. There are flashes of sincerity, but the overwhelming majority of the scene purely comedic. However, a lot of the comedy can be viewed as having a significant purpose to the views of Christopher Marlowe.
