Although many innocent people were killed as a result of the Salem Witch Trials, the trials eventually ceased, and it was because of people who stood up for what they believed in. Just Rosa Parks sitting down in the front of the bus, John Proctor stood up for what he believed in, even when it risked, and ultimately took his life.
