Chickamauga
The battle of Chickamauga was the bloodiest two-day battle of the Civil War was fought on September 19th and 20th of 1863. More than 35,000 men were killed, wounded or missing out of the 125,000 who engaged in the battle. The battle was fought between the Army of the Cumberland, numbering about 55,000 of union soldiers, commanded by the Union General William Starke Rosecrans, and the Army of Tennessee of about 70,000 confederate soldiers, commanded by General Braxton Bragg.
