like it was when I was a child. My eyes closed and I took a deep breath. Suddenly my nose was infected with this foul unmistakable aroma (the aroma of fresh sewage). My nose wrinkled with disgust. The image of a huge red truck parked in a near by yard was the culprit of the foul smell. The baseball field never smelled like this. Memories of a simple quiet meadow have to remain just memories.
