CHILDREN & T.V VIOLENCE Nearly 100 percent of households have television, 87 percent of those households have two or more television sets. Out of all of these American homes over 60 percent 0f 12-17-year-olds have a TV set in their room. Within households viewing time may total up to 59 hours a week (Nielsen 1998).
