Thus, without anyone of the factors, the unification would not have turned out as it was. The prior factors that solidified the German states was an advantage that Bismarck had used for Prussia; however, without Bismarck's intelligence to convince Napoleon, King Willaim I and the Austrian powers, the unification would have turned out differently as well.
