and contrast British and German propaganda during WWI.
Both the British and the Germans used propaganda throughout the war to boost their war effort. Even though the propaganda was aimed at achieving the same result, the different cultures demanded different techniques to be used.

Because of this, the British could claim that Germany was the aggressor and a nation who attacks helpless countries such as Belgium. British and German propaganda campaigns were different because of the cultural differences and the aims of the 2 countries, which required the propaganda to be expressed in different ways. However the fact that the British propaganda campaign was more successful is extremely apparent and evident through the very successful recruitment and war bond campaign.
