…to understand. I enjoyed this story because it is something that I can relate to. To me, there is nothing that can touch the soul more than music and art. These things are what create individuals, cultures, and societies. They can be interpreted in many ways. Yet they affect everyone in their perimeter. James Baldwin did a good job of conveying the idea that music is an international language. Art is something everyone can appreciate.
