Slaughter House Five was overall an exciting and fun book to read as it relates science fiction to world war II era. The author, Kurt Vonnegut who was a prisoner of war as an American and witnesses the firebombing of Dresden. Although the book can be confusing at times, it requires you to re-read some paragraphs over again and put the context together from page to page.

humor remarks towards tragedies and deaths, but if you are into science fiction and you are interested in what it was like to live in a big war like World War II, then I strongly encourage you to read this book. Although, this book can be difficult at times, it is well worth to read and see how Vonnegut relates science fiction to war. Overall, this book deserves a 4 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
