Youngsters really want to be guided and counseled, but they also want to be able to make some decisions by themselves; like what clothes to wear, what toys to buy... So, bottom line is children should not be given total freedom, but they should be allowed the basic liberations suitable for every age. This makes them proud, happy, and independent, and also ensures a comfortable and effective transition from childhood, to adolescence, and finally adulthood.
