My report is about my visit to the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. This is the first real art museum that I think I have ever visited. …by a pretty blue sky filled with white clouds. I believe that top lighting is being used with the natural midday sunlight creating small shadows under the objects. The painting contains a very wide aspect ratio (it is almost twice as wide as it is tall) that lends itself a nice panoramic perspective, which sets the work apart from the majority. I enjoyed the visit to the museum and have a new appreciation for art.
