Sandra Day O'Connor is the first woman and the 102nd person to sit on the Supreme Court of the United States. Sandra Day O'Connor was born on March 26, 1930; she grew up in El Paso, Texas. She grew up on her family's ranch in Arizona. Mrs. O'Connor had a sister Ann and a brother Alan. On the ranch, Mrs. O'Connor's father taught her to drive a tractor, ride a horse, shoot a rifle, and brand cows.
