I found this book to be very interesting. Orwell intrigued me in the beginning by giving a detailed description of coal mines and lodging houses. I found the second part of the book very interesting because much of the information about industrial England was new to me. I found that Orwell was often repetitive. Because of this, he got his points across. Even though Orwell was often repetitive, he still managed to keep my interest.
