…fighters look small and powerless compared to ferocity of the crowd. The Chocolate War is a great feel good movie (only after a dramatic change) but I actually liked the book's ending better. The book is less typical, as there is no Hollywood-like 'bad guy always loses, good guy wins' mentality. Overall the movie is a great drama about a young boy who stands up in what he believes in to break away from conformity.
