The article I chose is about the anti-progesterone RU-486 (mifepristone). I chose this
article for a few reasons. I was interested in the article's content, and although the article
appeared to be straight forward there were many hidden messages. Before this article I knew
nothing about RU-486. I would have read this article and probably passed right over the
messages that makes the article negative about this drug for moral reasons instead of scientific
ones.

bear a child she didn't want? It would mean there would be a lot more child abuse, neglect, and welfare. In conclusion, this article seems women friendly because the author seems to be concerned predominantly with women's health. But after considering the article's real message I find that it is not women friendly. It is trying to present an argument against a drug that could help many women just because of a personal moral belief.
