America and Britain have had a long history of acts of aggression. These acts can be traced back to 1763. This was the year when the French and Indian War ended and Britain gained full possession of North America. The French and Indian War led to the Proclamation of 1763 which then increased tensions between Britain and the American colonies.

British, there probably never would have been a French and Indian War. Therefore because of the French and Indian War, King George III knew it was necessary for the Proclamation of 1763, so he could control the land takeovers. The Proclamation Line of 1763 was a very necessary step in preventing another war that would pervade American society. Therefor it is my opinion that King George III made a wise decision in making the Proclamation Line of 1763.
