The title of a poem can be very influential on the way we read it. Any skillful poet will create a title that provokes thought and develops meaning to the poems content. …which when linked to the quote from Shakespeare's Macbeth shows us the title of the poem is setting up the whole theme of living life to the full and looking for your hour upon the stage. Another example would be "The Fear", it's a poem about, as the title suggests, a woman who is facing up to her fears. This title is also cleverly chosen as it instantly sets a scene of insecurity and anticipation.
