Antigone The story of Antigone is a well-written play by Sophocles. Most of the writing in the strophe, and the antistrophe is metaphoric and quite poetic. These parts are a bit hard to conceive what is intended but the thought process is what makes the understanding worth all of the effort. they should accept Antigone. I did not like this story and would not recommend it to anyone. The characters are not interesting at all and have almost no moral value, for this reason I do not relate to them and could not get into this tale. If you were to take out the strophe and antistrophe there would be nothing good left of this story. I liken this story to a very bad soap opera.
