…Ivan was in did not exactly do anything wrong. However, under the Stalin rule, anything that was against Stalin's ways was a crime. Although this story was fiction, it was written by a former prisoner at a special camp making it more believable. I would recommend this book to a person who thinks life is extremely tough for them so that they will be able to see how tough life can really get to be.
