…speaking, being that Antigone is the daughter of Oedipus. The relationships between the characters and their people seemed to be one of the only things that the two were not alike in. Through comparing and contrasting these two characters, a reader can take away the newfound knowledge that selfish pride and ignorance can bring forth an unfortunate ending.
