The Argument From Miracles
-?There must always be a presumption against the occurrence of a miracle?.. The evidence for a miracle will always be weaker than the evidence for some other hypothesis; why? According to Popperian terms therefore, this theory is not scientifically acceptable. However, it explains such a wide range of data that scientists would never give up the idea. Even if somebody did prove the theory wrong, could the theory be dropped and forgotten about? -Popper therefore implies with his philosophies that when a scientist proves one of his ideas wrong on two accounts, the idea is no longer valid and is to be considered void.
