In this coursework assignment, I am going to compare two short stories. They are Night Fears, by L.P. Hartley, and Into The Unknown - A Superstitious Mans Story by Thomas Hardy. Conclusion Out of the two stories I found that Night Fears is the most effective. It is because the stranger in the story adds a little twist when his identity is not mentioned.
