this was my third visit to Sequoia Park but by far the most educating ------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Bibliography** As we made our way up through the Giant Forest of the Sequoia, the elevation reached over 5,000 feet, which made it possible to see some conifer tree communities. We drove by white fir, red fir, sugar pine, lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, incense cedar, and of course, the giant sequoias. We stopped to admire the trees of the Giant Forest.
