Homo Sapiens have been around for twenty thousand years. In this geographically short period of time, several powerful and awe inspiring civilizations has risen. Every civilization has had its own significant impact on the world. Some have excelled in the arts, while others strived for scientific perfection. Though there have been several important and influential civilizations, I believe there have only been three truly great civilizations.

important and influential civilizations, none of them were more influential than the Roman, Egyptian, and the Mayan civilizations. Without the advancements of these cultures, it is impossible to say what our world would be like. It is safe to say though, that without them we would not be technologically where we are today. In the end, these civilizations were so advanced, it is even possible to say that maybe they had helpers from other worlds.
