…Yoke. In summary, in my opinion Mongol Yoke completely isolated Rus' from her Western neighbors, as well as paralyzed Russian culture and slowed down it development. The impact of their invasion is seen not only as destructive of Russian society but also as detrimental to the development of the Russians themselves. I strongly believe that Kievan Rus' helped to suppress Mongol invasion on other countries and as a result only Russia suffered their huge blow.
