it is interesting to read I feel it lacks the significance of Donne's other poems as the focus is principally humour orientated wit. From the poems that I have focused on I believe that Donne often provides an interesting read alongside intelligent conceits, which offers well rounded poems which appeal universally. Wit definitely serves better purposes when it conveys feeling, and Donne has proved this with his poetry with it being appealing in every respect.
