…with his film because although he has stuck to Shakespeare's original play, at the same time he has made a modern version, which to me is more interesting and makes me want to keep watching. Whereas in the Zeffirelli film it is quite boring and makes my concentration slip. So overall I prefer Luhrman's film and especially the way he shows Mercutio's wit and state.
