…we use it. It is our society that has attached positive and negative connotations to words based on the gender associated with it. I don't agree with the idea that we should modify the way we use our language so we are not being sexist. If we were to change it we should change it back to the Old English, waepman and wifman, and keep man as the generic as it was meant to be.
