Macbeth as a Tragic Hero
There are a couple of personality traits that make up a tragic hero. The most important of these is a tragic flaw. The hero also has to be an upstanding person who fails in his endeavors. Readers will also sympathize with the character and feel bad for his situation. William Shakespeare creates a tragic hero in almost all of his works. In Macbeth, Shakespeare successfully creates a tragic hero.
