Lady Macbeth, but the main downfall for Macbeth was ambition, and the main downfall for Lady Maceth was guilt. A tragic hero is a character that the audience sympathizes with despite his/her actions that would indicate the contrary, do both characters fit this category?, very much so, because no matter how much wrong they do, you always feel like sticking to thier side because how the definition says you sar to "sympatize" for them.
