She finished confessing her crimes while under insomnia and then committing suicide. Macbeth, throughout the play, grew stronger yet weaker. He grew stronger in that he no longer felt emotion but weaker in morals. Macbeth is a tale of the corruption of morality when faced with greedy ambition for power.
